My commitment is to provide you a professional, personalised ceremony that reflects you both.

I ask all my couples ; Do you want your ceremony to be more fun or emotional? Most of the time the Groom say FUN & the Bride says EMOTIONAL! So the vast majority of my ceremonies are a beautiful balance between the two.

That’s what makes my ceremonies different & very popular, they are modern, interactive and we all get to have a laugh & cry while you get married. You’ll have a great time & so will your quests.

My commitment is to give you a ceremony that is fun, light, contemporary and emotional as hey, its your wedding and definitely not boring. I’m big on getting to know my couples and not being a stranger on your day! I do ask some nosey questions to get information about the two of you (sometimes stalking may be involved hehe) that can be used in your ceremony so your wedding is actually about you – not something that’s been taken from the internet! It’s important for me that when you both stand in front of your family and friends that you feel comfortable and love your ceremony and not think “oh dear”!!!!! Thats why it’s so important that you pick the right celebrant …. if you don’t you’ll likely get a ceremony that suits the celebrant – not you!

I have a high quality sound system available to ensure your family & friends feel part of your special day at no extra charge.

I am available to officiate your wedding in the Bay of Plenty, Tauranga, Waikato, Hamilton & Rotorua…. I will & do travel outside these areas so please do ask.

Debbie was an amazing celebrant. She was flexible and open to all suggestions. When we were too fussy for her suggested ceremonies she worked with us to create one that felt incredibly personal and according to out guests was a highlight of their day. Our ceremony was on the longish side (45mins) but because Debbie had worked with us so closely it flew by and there definitely weren't any awkward coughs or shuffling chairs. We wrote our own vows and she provided feedback which helped us keep them secret from each other but cohesive. There were very few dry eyes during our ceremony. We also strongly encouraged audience participation which could have been awkward had it not worked but Debbie had exactly the right persons to pull this out of our guests, although possibly the pre-ceremony alcohol might have helped her in this regard. In summary, Debbie is simply amazing!!

Thank you for being an awesome celebrant, you really made us feel as relaxed as humanly possible on such an intense day, and people were saying how your Dr Seuss intro throw them, but in the best possible way, what a great silly way to start what we wanted to be a relaxed, fun ceremony and I think these photos capture that.

Debbie was the most amazing wedding celebrant - from the moment we spoke on the phone, we knew she was the one for us! She set us at ease right off the bat, got to know us, and planned a ceremony with us in mind. She found the perfect combination of sweet and funny, traditional yet not, for us - we could not have enjoyed our ceremony more! Debs was warm, relaxed and kind, and nothing was ever a problem. Oh my God, best day ever!!! I seriously loved every minute of it, it was so much fun, and didn't even go too fast. Andy and I managed to sneak off a few times to look back at all our guests having a great time and catch our breath together, it was just perfect. I've had lots of comments on how awesome the ceremony was and how lovely and calming you were, so thank you so much Debbie, you nailed it :-)

We booked Debbie after a Skype from London 2 years before our actual wedding here. She was so warm and such a pleasure to deal with, and didn't let us down on the day.
